Hello, this is Dr. Karolina Holda
Let’s get to know each other

I help professionals gain specialized knowledge of dog and cat nutrition
My work is based on Evidence-based Veterinary Medicine (EBVM), or evidence-based veterinary medicine. Therefore, you will find with me only confirmed information and an objective approach to dietary issues. There is no room for fanaticism or radical views on nutrition.
I have 10 years of experience in the pet market as an independent expert. I conduct trainings, during which I share my passion and pass on reliable knowledge. I cooperate with food and treat manufacturers. I am an academic lecturer, speaker at scientific conferences and author of more than 70 publications and industry articles.
I am constantly developing myself. I belong to the European Society of Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition. I regularly participate in international congresses, fairs and seminars. I follow the development of the pet market in Poland and around the world. I am the caretaker of Finka – a bitch adopted from the shelter at the Finger Lakes.
My mission:
I would like as many professionals and animal caretakers as possible to be aware that many health problems can be prevented by proper nutrition. Hence, educational activities on how to feed dogs and cats professionally according to the latest scientific guidelines.

I am incredibly grateful to be able to do what I am most passionate about on a daily basis. From the beginning, I wanted to act ONLY AS AN INDEPENDENT specialist and look neutrally at the development of science and the pet food market. I never considered working for a pet food company. To this day, almost every day I get lucrative offers to advertise various products and become the face of a pet food or supplement brand. And to this day I consistently refuse.

After I defended my doctorate in 2019, I organized my first classroom training, and that was it! The trainings were popular, so they were already held regularly, drawing crowds each time. The hall was always filled to the brim. Many people commuted from outside Warsaw. Then came the pandemic – in March 2020 I had to cancel the classes despite the fact that all the seats had already been bought.

I found it hard to accept that the participants would not be able to take the training, so I decided that I would prepare an online version for them. That’s how the first remote course was created and my business moved fully online. I am creating a PRO Course Series for pet and veterinary professionals. This allows you too to benefit from this knowledge at your fingertips anytime, anywhere.

Why the love of learning?
I think that continuous development is naturally inherent in human existence, and science is a powerful tool with the causal power to change the world for the better. Science is the art of collecting experiences and sharing them with society to help us make everyday choices. Thanks to my presence in the world of science over the years, I have had the pleasure of sharing my experience with animal nutrition and introducing you to the fascinating world of dietetics.
And privately?
Because a man doesn’t live by his work alone 😉 .

Passionate about horseback riding
Since childhood, I have loved horseback riding. Living in the countryside, I even had my own horse! It was a carefree time, during which I would put on a saddle and ride through fields, meadows and forests. Sometimes even to the store to the surprise of the local community.

Senior Fink’s mom
We came across each other more than 10 years ago, when Finka was still a puppy staying at the Warsaw Shelter on Paluch. She is my best friend. Interestingly enough, Finka is a real bad eater, so she has always been a dietary challenge even for me.

Love of sport
Sports have a special place in my life. From a young age I have trained in several disciplines. Horseback riding, capoeira, karate, yoga and aerial yoga, weightlifting (I even competed in a bicubic competition!), animal flow have scrolled through my life so far.
